WHAT IS NoDaWEEN?
NoDaWEEN is an annual event hosted by the NoDaNBA the Saturday before Halloween. Located in the historic NoDa arts district, this community fundraiser is in its 4th year and continuing to grow. This year, NoDaWEEN will be held on October 26 and includes 4 major events: KiDaWEEN, Freaky 5K, NoDaWEEN Party, and Rocky Horror Picture Show, as well as several business-run events around the ‘hood. Each year a minimum of 20% of proceeds are donated to a selected charity; in 2013 the beneficiary is Running Works.
Each year, we choose a local charity to partner with in the NoDaWeen event. We share a portion of the proceeds to support a cause close to NoDa's heart. This year, IT COULD BE YOU! Contact us for more information.
The NoDa Neighborhood and Business Association is the official “Voice of the Arts District”: a volunteer-run nonprofit organization that supports the residents and businesses of NoDa. Established in 2001 as the Historic North Charlotte Neighborhood Association, we are a grassroots organization and a federally recognized 501(c)3 charity. We preserve the history, art, small businesses, and character of this unique Charlotte enclave. NoDa NBA relies on the efforts of our sponsors, donors, and volunteer staff to keep the neighborhood alive, vibrant, and streaming with tourists.
